It’s been a full week – full of sweetness with my two day Mandala Workshop and full of bitter with the first killing frost in my gardens.  The sweetness of shared hearts and creativity during the workshop still lingers in my heart, home and home art studio.

But it is the bitter of the first deep freeze that saddens my heart.  My gardens were glorious spring, summer, fall and up until last night. They bloomed their hearts out.  Yesterday I walked slowly through my landscape spending quite a bit of time photographing, cutting blossoms and sending thanks and good wishes for the upcoming cold months.

Here are some of the blossoms that so gladden hearts.  (I will share more photos and words next week)
