A Month for Mandalas, session two, which ended weeks ago, was about connection to nature’s elements.  Part of the session is actual connection and merging of mandalas with the elements. Here are the mandalas honoring and becoming one with air and earth.

These mandalas below in this blog post were created to become one with air and earth. The papers are rice paper.  The inks were sumi and made from walnuts. Bees wax crayon and fabric dye give more color.

AIR – a prayer flag that blows in the wind.

These mandalas will send their energy into the air and beyond as they blow in the wind throughout the winter and beyond.

  2. Latin Squares of order 4 x 4 can be connected to the elements fire, wind, earth and air, if we designate each of the four digits in a 4 x 4 Latin Square with an element, using their colour characteristics. Each combination can be identified with a Ruling Planet. Read more about it on my blog: http://www.glennwestmore.com.au/category/latin-squares/.
