Flower Freeze

flower-freeze-nectarien-flower-blog-creativity-for-the-soul-blogTonight winter comes back with 20 degrees F.  Spring was here all winter and the flowers grew. Unfortunately many of the flowers won’t make it through the night.  Blossoms, leaves and newly grown foliage won’t survive the cold.

But I could pick many of the flowers and bring inside. So yesterday I picked as many as I could and put them in vases.

I was recently inspired by a quote:  “The earth seeks to be admired by you,” Gaston Bacheland, a French philosopher.

I am thankful I can closely admire these flowers in vases and wait for other new blossoms when spring finally arrives.

Please admire and enjoy the beauty of these hellebores and daffodils.

  1. So beautiful, Linda! What a profusion you have in your garden. Such a bummer about these sudden returns of winter. I am glad you picked all these flowers so they won’t be lost to the frost. I feel for the other trees and plants out there that have no choice.
