Garden Planting & Mandalas
Today I finished planting my garden. It’s the last on the list of the many gardens I work in.
Last winter I put raised beds in a sunnier area in my back. They keep the rabbits out of the vegetable patch. My former vegetable garden is now mainly flowers, native and not, but all bee friendly for the two new honeybee hives.
My creative energy has been going into gardens. I haven’t had time to create mandalas with paper and paints. Today before digging in the dirt I took some photos of the garden and flowers that touch my heart and share my time. From the photos I created mandala photos with my son’s Kaleidagram* Iphone app. Here is my garden and flowers, and the lovely mandalas they create.
A half eaten sunflower, eaten by bright yellow goldfinches.
I’ll be spending time sitting in my pergola feeling love and gratitude for the bees, birds, flowers and all the life of the garden. I will listen and watch as they all spread their beauty and songs of creation into the world.
Enjoy & Create

I love the flower mandelas!! Thanks for sharing. I need you to come back to my garden sometime soon. It needs help.
Hi JoAnn,
I’d love to see you and your garden. Soon, when it’s not so hot.
