Mandalas – Silence & Sharing

These mandalas were created and inspired by a mandala circle of shared creativity and a meditation honoring silence.

Each month there is a mandala circle in my studio. It is open to those who have taken my workshops. I always start with a guided meditation.  But in the recent mandala circle I couldn’t talk.  I had laryngitis.  Instead I played my recorded guided meditation titled “remembering silence”, which is embedded into a blog from September 2014.

(Here is a link to that blog and meditation – scroll down past the first four mandalas and there is the meditation)

As in all of my mandala circles, music is in the background, but the creative work is done without talking.  The silence without words lets us focus into our creative centers and bring forth unique expressions.

At the end of the session, we take time to share what we have created and talk about it.  The mandalas shown here were inspired by the silence of creative centering and also personal expressions of feelings, thoughts and intuitive art making. Making marks and sometimes adding words is part of this creative journey that is for inspiration, transformation and healing.

These mandalas are inspirations and truthful expressions of where creativity honors and shows what our soul needs and wants to express.

And although this  mandala was created awhile ago, it is an expression of reverence and joy of wild nature by Christine during a trip to the west coast.

Thank you to all the  mandala makers for sharing their unique, beautiful and deep creativity.
