It’s been too long since I shared a blog post and have had time to make mandalas and other marks on paper.

A very busy garden planting season, a son’s wedding, website troubles with my blog and a couple of weeks of puppy sitting have kept me away from posting a blog and sharing creativity.

Fortunately all the gardens are now planted, the wedding was wonderful, my webmaster has hopefully fixed the blog problems and the puppy is home with my son and daughter-in-law.

I can take time to breath deeply.

I have missed making mandalas and sharing.  This post shares the creativity of my friends who were part of a mandala class and mandala circles earlier this year. (These friends are Christine, Ann, Linda and Jodi).

I am also sharing a photo of the puppy and photos of some of the beautiful flower mandalas that I come face to face with as I spend long days in gardens.

Mandala circles in my studio will take place again in a few weeks. I have time now to create marks on paper and settle into more time of making mandalas, journaling and creating painted prayers.

I am also finding time to center into the space of teaching at one of my favorite places ever, Art & Soul Retreat at Kanuga in North Carolina. Here’s a post I did about the “painted prayers” we will be creating in late August.

Enjoy and Create.
